Job Description
The Field Nursing Operations Manager oversees nursing activities related to the assigned region, ensuring the safety of study participants and per diem mobile research nurses. They provide a safe environment for study participants, caregivers, and study personnel by complying with all regulatory standards. The manager collaborates with per diem mobile research nurses to solution issues, provide education, and offer resource support. They ensure the quality of data collection and timely data entry into the Science 37 Platform.
This role involves line management for assigned per diem nurses, including documenting meetings. The manager identifies, develops, and delivers training, and serves as the Nursing SME for assigned studies, actively participating in clinical trial activities. They provide mobile research nurse services to qualified study participants, develop relationships with study team members, and advise nursing leadership of potential issues. The role requires internal audits of nursing documentation and process improvement.
