Responsibilities:

  • Travel up to 80% of the time to commission and maintain combustion systems, performing onsite technical support and root cause analysis.
  • Use multimeters and combustion analyzers to assess system performance and ensure compliance with safety standards and site regulations.
  • Prepare detailed service reports and timesheets while identifying spare part needs and supporting warranty claim processes.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in engineering technology or applied sciences from an ABET-accredited program; a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the US, possess a valid driver's license and passport, and obtain OSHA and NFPA safety training.
  • Previous field experience with furnaces or burners, along with the ability to read technical manuals and interpret electrical schematics, is highly desired.

Additional Information:

  • The role requires strong communication and customer service skills, with proficiency in Spanish considered a plus for effective client interaction.
  • Candidates with less than four years of experience need reasonable proximity to the Pittsburgh headquarters for initial training and onboarding support.
