Creator Team Product Designer

Shape the creator experience for those who build the worlds, avatars, and systems that make VRChat come alive. Improve tools, workflows, and interfaces that support creators—from onboarding and content management to publishing, monetization, and community building. If you're energized by designing for creators, crafting UX that bridges technical complexity and expressive power, and supporting a global ecosystem of artists and developers, this role is for you. Collaborate with your design lead, PMs, and engineers to improve core creator workflows, including content upload, management, publishing, and monetization. Design intuitive interfaces that support creators with varying levels of technical expertise—from hobbyists to professional developers. Translate technical concepts into approachable UX through thoughtful flows, clear visual hierarchy, and user-friendly microcopy. Pair with the community and support teams to understand creator pain points and use those insights to improve tool usability and reduce friction. Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished mockups across platforms (web, desktop, mobile), with an eye toward accessibility and responsiveness. Collaborate with the design systems team to ensure visual and interaction consistency across the creator experience. Help define the user experience for new creator-focused features—from experimental publishing tools to scalable monetization programs. Contribute to early discovery and testing of new tools, including interviews, journey mapping, and usability testing.
