Staff Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead migration of Vanta's resource data model from Mongo to Postgres while maintaining backward compatibility and no data loss.
• Design and evolve data ingestion pipeline for terabyte-scale streams with eventual consistency and correctness.
• Set architectural direction for streaming infrastructure (Kafka), caching (Redis), and persistent storage (Postgres, MongoDB).

What we look for:

• Proven experience leading platform migrations and strong command of Kafka, Postgres, and MongoDB.
• Deep industry experience in distributed systems and data pipeline engineering at enterprise scale.
• Solid AWS fundamentals and comfort operating in TypeScript and Node.
