Job Overview:
- We are seeking a Director, Electrical Strategic Design Sourcing to build and lead the electrical commodity supply chain function.
- Reporting to the VP of Supply Chain, this role directs a team and owns the departmental budget.
- The Director is accountable for decisions across engineering-embedded sourcing, best-total-cost supply chain, and FEOC-compliant battery sourcing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, manage, and develop a team of commodity managers and sourcing program managers.
- Own the departmental budget, headcount plan, and organizational sourcing policies.
- Partner with Engineering and Product Management in the product roadmap process and own should-cost modeling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent; 20+ years of experience.
- Deep technical knowledge of power electronics, PCBAs, and battery systems.
- Executive presence and ability to negotiate at senior management level.
