About The Role:
- The GMS App Team is hiring for a Senior Software Engineer to ensure fast, secure, and reliable releases through the team’s DevOps capabilities.
- This application provides daily, near-real time monitoring and analytic insights on customer-defined sites built atop Planet’s satellite data.
- This is a full-time, remote position based in either Germany, the Netherlands or Slovenia.
Impact You’ll Own:
- Own the container-based application lifecycle, bi-weekly releases, and CI/CD pipelines for GMS.
- Organize and execute migrations as the service evolves.
- Manage deployments on customer-isolated Kubernetes clusters.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on infrastructure or DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and stateful applications.
- Practical knowledge of secrets management and security best practices within a cloud-native environment.
