Responsibilities:

Formulate and solve least-cost mitigation portfolios for transmission, storage, and operational measures.
Develop MILP/MINLP formulations, AC/DC power flow relaxations, and decomposition approaches.
Prototype in Python, validate against AC power flow results, and deploy methods as scalable services.

Qualifications:

Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Operations Research, or related field with 3+ years of experience.
Strong foundation in mathematical optimization and proficiency in Python and optimization modeling frameworks.
Solid understanding of power flow, contingency analysis, and US transmission system and ISO/RTO structures.
