- Support utility planning and advisory projects focused on generator interconnection and transmission planning.
- Help clients evaluate how new generation resources affect the power grid across conventional and renewable projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop technical models and perform power system studies including steady-state, dynamic, transient stability, voltage, thermal, and short-circuit analyses.
- Review ISO feasibility and system impact studies, preparing technical reports and recommendations for clients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and apply emerging technologies and AI tools to improve workflow efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with coursework in power systems analysis.
- At least 3 years of power systems engineering experience and knowledge of U.S. ISOs/RTOs.
- Experience with PSS/E, PSLF, PSCAD, and transmission planning software.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range of $84,762–$129,498 plus potential yearly discretionary bonus.
