Responsibilities:

  • Support owner’s engineer and design teams on large, isolated power systems integrating gas turbines, BESS, reciprocating engines, and solar PV with large dynamic loads.
  • Provide technical oversight of plant control philosophies and ensure OEM, EPC, and system integrator designs deliver stable, resilient, and compliant operation under steady-state, transient, and islanded conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 12+ years’ experience in power generation controls, grid integration, or utility-scale plant systems.
  • Strong understanding of dynamic performance studies, gas turbine control systems, BESS plant/energy management systems, and protection coordination.
  • Experience with EPC deliverables, grid code compliance, and technical due diligence.
