Staff DevOps Engineer

The company is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Staff DevOps Engineer to join the Development Operations (DevOps) team. As a Staff DevOps Engineer, you will not only deliver excellent technical solutions but also shape the future of Ada's infrastructure strategy, raise the bar for engineering quality, and multiply the impact of the engineering organization. The role extends beyond execution: you will partner across teams and functions, ensure technical alignment, and coach other engineers to grow Ada’s long-term operational excellence. Core engineering contributions include architecting, building, and supporting scalable and highly reliable software systems that power Ada’s platform growth. You will lead the design and implementation of resilient cloud infrastructure, analyze and optimize infrastructure for reliability, performance, and cost, and support developer tools and processes to maximize engineering velocity. Technical leadership & strategy involves owning and setting the technical vision for Ada’s infrastructure, ensuring scalability, resiliency, and developer productivity as the company grows. The role also requires coaching and mentoring engineers, contributing to Ada’s culture of engineering excellence, and partnering with engineering leadership to ensure technical initiatives are prioritized and executed with business impact in mind.
