The Developer, Senior (Survivor Portal) will lead the full-stack development of the Survivor Portal, implementing modular, reusable code for portal features including account creation, consent forms, and e-signature workflows. They will develop secure, responsive front-end interfaces using modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) that adhere to Section 508 accessibility and UX standards, integrate RESTful APIs, and manage secure, limited data exchanges between the Survivor Portal and DCIPS Future while ensuring isolation and compliance with DoD cybersecurity mandates. This role also involves implementing authentication and role-based access control (e.g., SAML, OAuth 2.0) to support secure survivor access and identity management, building and maintaining serverless and microservices-based back-end components in AWS GovCloud using technologies such as Lambda, ECS, and RDS. They will also support DevSecOps automation, integrating CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and automated testing frameworks, ensuring portal compliance with RMF, DISA STIG, and Zero Trust security requirements, including developing APIs supporting event calendars, survey integration, and resource recommendations per TOR feature requirements. The person will conduct code reviews, optimize system performance, and troubleshoot integration or data validation issues; participate in Agile ceremonies; and collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, data engineers, and DevOps personnel.
