Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee transmission line project designs, serving as a subject matter expert, and navigate complexities of electrical transmission line design.
- Provide strategic input to leadership, lead client and internal discussions, and travel to client sites for project definition and execution phases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Structural Engineering and 3+ years of experience in transmission line design.
- In-depth knowledge of NESC, IEEE, and other applicable codes, high proficiency in PLS-CADD, and strong technical writing and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with RISA-3D and/or STAAD, understanding of AISC, ACI 318, and other standards, and possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience in electrical utility or utility consulting is strongly preferred for enhanced project execution and mentorship roles.
