Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare environmental compliance reports including annual air emissions inventory, hazardous waste reports, Tier II, TRI, and air permit certifications.
  • Develop Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWP3s), and Slug Discharge Control Plans.
  • Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments per ASTM Standard E1527-21 and prepare permit applications for industrial wastewater and air emissions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional certification such as EIT or CHMM preferred; 40-hour HAZWOPER training preferred.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment with multiple project assignments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and valid U.S. driver's license for business travel.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary range: $123,235 to $172,530 per year for Illinois location.
  • Comprehensive benefits include paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, and 401(k).
