Director of Finance / Chief of Finance

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both strategic oversight and the ability to execute key financial functions directly—particularly in grants management, reporting, and system oversight. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the individual will oversee all financial operations including accounting, grants and contracts management, compliance, audits, reporting, budgeting, and financial strategy. This individual will supervise a team and serve as a key thought partner to the leadership team, playing a vital role in sustaining the organization’s financial health and driving strategic decisions.The role involves managing accounting activities, financial systems, and leading financial planning, strategy and analysis. It includes leading all financial aspects of government and foundation grants and contracts, as well as ensuring compliance with regulations. The role also includes preparing financial reports for the Board.
