Class Action Underwriting Consultation Attorney

This role is critical in performing legal due diligence and offering expert consultation on the viability, structure, and potential exposure of emerging and active class action cases. The ideal candidate combines rigorous legal analysis with practical business judgment to support underwriting decisions and drive intelligent litigation investment strategies. You will serve as a key advisor to both internal and external stakeholders, assessing complex legal claims and crafting actionable recommendations that inform underwriting outcomes. Key Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive legal evaluations of potential and active class action matters; analyzing causes of action, certification risks, procedural posture, and likely defenses; drafting case assessments, risk memos, and strategic recommendations for underwriting teams and clients. Also includes providing consultative input on class definitions, jurisdictional risks, damage methodologies, and trial posture.
