Track key court cases and support the development and filing of amicus briefs.
Track and analyze federal and state legal and regulatory developments relevant to IW’s policy priorities.
Assist in drafting blogs, memos, and backgrounders translating legal issues for broader audiences.
Independent Women's Law Center supports legal and policy teams by tracking, analyzing, and translating legal and regulatory developments. They operate as a virtual office and value collaboration and communication, holding regular staff and department calls.
Manage an assigned caseload with partner oversight.
Draft pleadings, motions, and written discovery.
Take and defend depositions.

The fellow will be assigned challenging projects based on their particular interests and strengths.
Fellow expected to spearhead individualized projects under the supervision and guidance of an attorney.
