Define and execute the cloud infrastructure strategy aligned to a product-team-owned operating model
Establish clear platform standards, reference architectures and paved roads for teams to self-serve infrastructure safely
Lead the organisation-wide adoption of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform as the primary mechanism)

Governance, Security & Access:

Partner closely with our CISO to define and enforce pragmatic, developer-friendly controls
Own cloud access models (IAM, role-based access, break-glass processes)
Ensure compliance requirements are met without slowing delivery

Financial Management & FinOps:

Own cloud financial governance across AWS and Azure
Build and mature FinOps practices where they add real value (cost visibility, accountability, optimisation)
Ensure teams have access to timely, understandable cost data for their services
