Backend Engineer

We are looking to onboard a second Backend Engineer in the Door to Door team. You will work closely with the product manager, product designer and other engineers to ensure that the product meets business needs and user requirements. Design, develop and maintain high-performance and scalable backend systems for the new product, ensuring it is developed according to best practices, coding standards, and BlaBlaCar architecture principles. The candidate will have strong knowledge of service oriented architecture and architectural patterns. The candidate will have hands-on experience with developer tools like Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring solutions (Datadog).
