Role Overview:

Focus on backend quality assurance by designing and executing tests for APIs, services and databases.
Validate data integrity, test RESTful APIs and ensure backend services perform reliably across cloud environments.
Collaborate with backend engineers, Product and QA professionals to identify and resolve defects.

Key Responsibilities:

Use tools like Postman, REST Assured to validate API behavior and support automated testing.
Test system performance, scalability, reliability and fault tolerance across distributed cloud environments.
Track defects in Jira, maintain QA documentation in Confluence and report test execution through TestRail.

Requirements:

3+ years of QA or software testing with strong backend and API focus.
Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with API testing tools.
Familiarity with automation frameworks and experience testing distributed cloud-hosted systems.
