Sr. Transmission Powerflow Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead powerflow activities and conduct project-specific analyses across all North American regions to support renewable asset development.
• Manage complex interconnection studies, review results, and identify risks and opportunities related to network upgrade costs.
• Develop automation tools using Python to streamline modeling and support large-scale data analysis and screening.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline is required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience, with demonstrated proficiency in powerflow software and ISO interconnection processes.
• Proficiency with Python automation, Excel, and the MS Office Suite, along with working knowledge of key energy markets.

Working Conditions & Culture:

• Approximately 85-95% of time is spent in an office environment utilizing specialized software, with 5-15% potentially spent in the field or at conferences.
• The role requires strong collaboration with peers, regional developers, and senior management, functioning in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Employees must work within authorized budget constraints while following all corporate policies and procedures.
