Job Summary:
- Handle complex property claims independently with minimal guidance.
- Serve the Southern Illinois area, spending 50% of time in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate claims thoroughly and develop well-supported coverage positions.
- Negotiate settlements with insureds, claimants, and attorneys.
- Maintain proactive file management and oversee litigated files.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience handling property claims or property restoration industry background.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or related field preferred.
- Industry designations such as AIC, AINS, or CPCU coursework are beneficial.
