Cloud Engineer (AWS)

Role Overview:

• Contribute to modernization of a federal enterprise data platform.
• Work at the intersection of cloud engineering, DevSecOps, and platform operations.
• Build secure, automated, highly available environments for mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Manage AWS services including EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC.
• Automate provisioning, monitoring, and operational workflows.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in CS, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in cloud engineering.
• At least 3 years hands-on AWS experience.
• Strong Terraform and CI/CD experience.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, EKS, and federal compliance frameworks preferred.
