Associate Director Performance Engineering - Solar & BESS

The Associate Director of Performance Engineering will provide technical guidance and day-to-day supervision to the Interconnection and Performance Engineering teams and is responsible for technical aspects of grid interconnection and merchant transmission business development. Duties include leading assessments of project development opportunities, managing engineering consultants, ensuring accuracy of deliverables, and liaising with internal teams. Additional responsibilities involve providing engineering supervision, gathering data for interconnection studies, reviewing vendor data, and maintaining technical project documentation. This role requires managing technical needs in project development, including system design deliverables, regulatory compliance, and site visits. The candidate will coordinate external resources, assist in developing project schedules and budgets, and recommend continuous improvements in project designs. They will also prepare conceptual designs for solar projects, perform energy generation modeling, and handle other assigned duties.
