Cologix is looking for a highly motivated individual with strong thought leadership and interpersonal skills who will assist with selecting and deploying new technologies in support of Basis of Design requirements utilized in the construction of new facilities as well as the retrofit and upgrade of existing facilities. The Vice President of Technology Engineering will be a technical resource for the President of the company as well as supporting peer organizations such as Construction & Operations.
Serve as an owner’s representative providing field inspections, construction quality assurance, oversight of electrical testing and commissioning activities at multiple sites during various phases of construction. Tasks include completion of checklists, adherence to established processes, identification of code compliance issues and common deficiencies, escalation of energization blockers and documenting as punch list items. Electrical systems are varied but include commercial facility power upgrades.
The Telecommunications Installer (Level IV) is responsible for complex installation and modification of circuits, power transitions, and equipment testing on active power systems. This role includes troubleshooting, overseeing critical work activities, and performing Site Supervisor duties to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and successful project execution. The role will report to the Southeast Region Services Manager.
