Actuarial Analyst

The Advanced Analytics & AI team sits at the intersection of health data, technology, and impact, pioneering new data products, advancing our use of AI, and ensuring data is clear, correct, and actionable across the company. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will quantify program impact by performing actuarial and claims analyses, take ownership of customer reporting by delivering standardized financial and clinical outcome reporting, elevate analytics stack, co-engineer predictive models, drive cross-functional impact, be the analytics “help desk”, and step up as a client-facing SME. Within your first 90 days at Virta, you will learn about Virta Health’s different product offerings and the associated performance guarantees, deep-dive into existing reporting templates and data pipelines, shadow the Staff Actuary to understand modeling assumptions, and take ownership of several reports.
