Software Engineer - Platform Productivity

The Opportunity:

• Providing application engineers with the tools, systems and Kubernetes clusters they need.
• Focusing on Cloud Infrastructure, Networking and Security; engineering Productivity; Capacity management, Client Administrative Tooling (CAT); and US Federal compliance.
• Being on-call to ensure the health of the system.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Working with engineers and management.
• Contributing to discussions and committing to team decisions.
• Approaching development holistically, owning the full life cycle of the code.

• Maintaining, improving and extending existing systems.
• Designing, comparing, and choosing appropriate solutions for development and maintenance of our Internal Engineering Platform (IEP).
• Supporting implementation of diverse internal teams' requirements.

• Working in a cloud environment with Infrastructure as Code; familiarity with Kubernetes administration.
