Systems Engineer III

Job Description:

• SOSi is seeking an Intermediate Systems Engineer to support production operations, software deployments, and enterprise application sustainment for a large federal information system.
• The role involves day-to-day production operations, software releases, system administration, configuration management, and operational troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

• Support production operations and assist with software deployments and release activities.
• Monitor production environments and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Support configuration management and documentation, and coordinate with software engineers and customer stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years supporting enterprise IT systems.
• Experience supporting production environments and software implementation activities.
• Technical skills in IBM z/OS, JCL, Oracle, Cognos, Broadcom Endevor, and configuration management.

Additional Information:

• Work environment includes normal office conditions with potential for deployed locations.
• Remote or Hybrid work model with core hours Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700.
• May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
