Job Description
Job Overview:
- Assist functional area technical experts with developing writing requirements.
- Acquisition planning, solicitation preparation, market research and analysis, and source selection document preparation.
- Prepare contract modifications and documents, cost/price analysis, development of analytics, create reports, preparation of contract termination documents.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and procedures to administer construction contracts.
- Familiarity with FAR Part(s) 14, 15, 36, and 43.
- In-depth knowledge of FAR 13/15.
Additional Abilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to lower-level acquisition personnel.
- Collaborate with customers on performance requirements.
- Analyze contracting issues and identify alternative courses of action.
