Senior Software Engineer, Frontend

Vannevar Labs is seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to enhance the design and implementation of its software suite. The role involves building applications used daily by operators and partners for mission-critical tasks, including geospatial visualization, data analysis, and AI-driven operational planning. The engineer will collaborate with designers, engineers, SMEs, and users in the field to create fast, reliable, and user-friendly interfaces that have a tangible impact. The role requires partnering with customers and other engineers to understand user workflows, improving core libraries and frontend tooling, and mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate should have expertise in TypeScript and React, an eye for design, and a customer-focused mindset. Familiarity with Node, Postgres, and OpenSearch is a plus.
