Security Engineer I

Security Operations & Engineering:

• Creates, monitors, and triages security signals in Datadog, CloudWatch, and Loki.
• Supports vulnerability management by tracking findings, driving remediation with service owners.
• Maintains identity and access hygiene in critical applications.

IT Operations & Support:

• Sets up accounts, provisions hardware, and applies appropriate access controls during onboarding.
• Tracks and reconciles hardware/software inventory and assists with device preparation.
• Monitors Jira queues and Slack Support channels, handling routine troubleshooting.

Key Competencies:

• Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Kandji, and Intune.
• Familiarity with AWS fundamentals and centralized logging.
• Patient, professional, and approachable when partnering with non‑technical staff.
