Engineering Manager | Middleware

At Extrahop we provide best-in-class network visibility and security to industries ranging from healthcare to payment processing. The Middleware team is focused on enhancing, maintaining, and optimizing the core components of the system. Our services and features are written primarily in Python, Golang, TypeScript and React with a focus on security, scalability, stability and type-first design. As an Engineering Manager, you will partner with Product Management to deliver on the product vision and feature priorities, maintaining a strong ability to make thoughtful tradeoffs between scope, quality, supportability, performance, and time-to-market. You will guide the team through the design and implementation of complex technical projects, ensuring sound architectural decisions and maintainable solutions. You will also build and sustain a high-performing engineering team by fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and growth, providing mentorship, defining clear career goals, and creating opportunities for skill development and advancement.
