Staff Accountant

As Astra’s first Staff Accountant, you will be at the center of our financial operations. This is more than a traditional accounting position — it’s an opportunity to build the systems and processes that will support Astra’s next stage of growth. You’ll be responsible for the full accounting cycle, from invoicing and vendor management to bank reconciliation and monthly close. You’ll also work closely with our tax advisors, ensure compliance across the board, and help prepare materials for fundraising and board presentations. Because this is an early hire on the Finance team, you’ll have direct input into the tools we implement, the workflows we adopt, and the controls we establish. You’ll collaborate with leaders across operations, compliance, sales, and product to ensure that Astra’s financial foundation scales as quickly and reliably as our technology.
