Own the Product Roadmap:
- Define and maintain a clear, prioritized roadmap within engineering's scope.
- Ensure that what the team is building is always traceable back to company strategy and customer impact.
- Ensure that the "why" is never a mystery to anyone on the team.
Drive Execution and Delivery Quality:
- Establish the processes, rituals, and metrics that make product delivery measurable and predictable.
- Identify and remove blockers, close gaps between planning and shipping.
- Raise the bar on what "done" looks like.
Lead and Develop the Product Team:
- Directly manage and coach a small team of PMs.
- Set clear expectations, build a culture of ownership and accountability.
- Invest in each person's growth.
