Staff Software Engineer, Data

About the Role:

• Build a next-generation intelligent data platform for private markets as part of a small, high-caliber seed team.
• Own the design and hands-on delivery of core pipeline components that make the platform work.
• Write production code every day and make consequential architectural decisions.

What You'll Do:

• Ship the data normalization, schema mapping, validation, enrichment, and distribution pipeline.
• Partner with the team to define end-to-end architecture and evaluate technologies.
• Design and implement AI evaluation frameworks for trustworthy outputs in financial contexts.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with Staff-level technical scope.
• Strong hands-on experience with data pipeline engineering and LLMs in production.
• Fluency in AI-assisted development workflows and ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code.

Compensation:

• Base salary range of $210,000 – $260,000 USD, plus equity and benefits.
