Pricing Associate

The Pricing Associate will ensure accuracy with costs and vendor information from 100+ brands on site, gather information for price updates and promotions given from our vendors, create and maintain price files to track pricing changes, and investigate and discuss pricing discrepancies and changes in vendor information with vendors. They will also negotiate discounts or extra payment terms on large orders, creatively produce solutions for resolving pricing discrepancies, and help navigate through issues with suppliers regarding pricing issues. This role involves creating price comparisons to analyze where we can improve our costs, investigate areas of opportunity for margin, work alongside our Customer Pricing Team to evaluate margin on a brand and SKU level as well as help identify areas of opportunity, analyze trends in the market and gather reasons for price changes to help predict upcoming changes, and foster relationships with vendors and representative contacts.
