As a Software Developer you’ll be part of a mission-driven initiative supporting automation, scalability, and security across critical applications used by criminal justice agencies statewide.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain Grails-based web applications, write efficient Groovy code, build and consume RESTful APIs, optimize application performance, and implement GORM-based data access layers. You will also collaborate with product managers, QA, and DevOps teams, write unit and integration tests, debug application issues, participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure application security.
To thrive in this role, you should have 10+ years of Grails application development experience, strong proficiency in Groovy and Java, a solid understanding of GORM, experience developing RESTful web services, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with front-end technologies. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum environments is highly desirable.
