About the Role:
- Dragos is seeking a Senior Detection Engineer to join our Detection Engineering team, turning threat intelligence into high-fidelity detections.
- You will study threat behaviors and create atomic, component, and composite detections for the Dragos Platform.
- Be self-motivated, persistent, and creative in the face of complex technical challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Create ICS-focused threat detections, asset identification analytics, and support staging and artifact collection.
- Mentor Detection Engineers and engage with Principal Detection Engineers on detection development.
- Test, validate, and tune detections, and lead the review and response for detection requests.
Qualifications:
- Over 8 years in security operations, threat hunting, or detection development, with 2+ years in operationalizing cyber threat intelligence.
- Direct experience with SCADA, DCS, or other industrial control systems, and advanced network packet analysis.
- Working knowledge of Windows Event Logging and operating system internals, and ability to mentor junior engineers.
