The Role:
- You will join one of our US clients, a life insurance company, focusing on security vulnerability remediation.
- You will triage Snyk findings, fix safe ones quickly, and escalate deeper design issues.
Day-to-Day:
- Review findings from Snyk Open Source, Code, Container, and IaC, separating real issues from false positives.
- Fix vulnerabilities in Ruby, Python, and .NET, including dependency upgrades and container updates.
- Submit clear pull requests, add tests, and keep Snyk and Jira status current.
What We Are Looking For:
- 3+ years of software development experience with solid Ruby and some Python.
- Strong Git, relational databases, and testing skills.
- Fluent English and comfort working in unfamiliar, established codebases.
