Director of Revenue Cycle Management

Role Responsibilities:

• Own performance outcomes for the full billing and collections lifecycle, driving accountability and resolving complex payer issues to ensure aggressive AR resolution.
• Identify bottlenecks, design workflows to reduce denials and shorten AR cycles, and enforce a high-discipline, zero-loss mentality across the collections engine.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for clients, translating billing hurdles into clear updates and building trust through transparency.

Leadership & Strategy:

• Act as a builder and closer, taking full ownership to assess the current state, design new strategies, and execute with autonomy in an ambiguous environment.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, and Operations to align billing strategies with company growth and ensure senior leadership has clear cash flow visibility.
• Drive team KPIs by tracking recovery rates and payer behavior, using data to pivot strategies in real time.

Candidate Profile:

• Possess 8+ years of revenue cycle management expertise with 2-3 years in management, including deep knowledge of CMS regulations and commercial payer behaviors.
• Demonstrate exceptional negotiation and conflict-resolution skills, with experience working directly with health plan partners to resolve payment issues favorably.
• Exhibit a high-initiative, self-starter approach, thriving on autonomy and acting as a fierce advocate for the company's financial performance with a player-coach mentality.
