Senior ML Engineer (Portugal Based Remote/Hybrid)

AI/ML Development:

• Contribute to the design, build, evaluation, and improvement of Sword’s products through hands-on AI/ML development.
• Share your knowledge and experience in building ML systems, promoting best practices, and growing the AI/ML function.
• Identify and spearhead initiatives to add AI/ML capabilities to Sword’s products, navigating uncertainty and time-to-value tradeoffs.

Data Pipelines:

• Develop and maintain data processing pipelines for acquiring the data needed to build and evaluate models.
• Work with the Product, Data & Engineering Teams to define and implement AI/ML-powered features for internal and external users.
• Provide technical oversight and mentor colleagues, learning quickly to address new problems.

Requirements:

• Need to have 4+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning.
• Solid experience in SQL and Python as well as experience developing production software.
• Working knowledge of Python data stack (numpy, pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn, etc)
