Job Description
AECOM is seeking (2) Mid-level Archaeology Technicians (Archaeology Technician III) for immediate employment. This remote opportunity will report to our Cultural Resources team in Portland or Seattle. This is a part-time, on-call position meaning workdays and times will be determined on an as-needed project basis. The Archaeological Technician primarily performs fieldwork under the supervision of a Crew Chief, Field Director and/or Principal Investigator. Field projects will primarily be located in the PNW (Oregon and Washington State).
Responsibilities include performing a variety of tasks in support of project staff. May gather and maintain specified records of scientific data for supervisor, including but not limited to environmental sampling, operations and maintenance and inspections at client sites. Collects and enters data and applies technical principles and theories under supervision.
