Security Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Support security, privacy, and governance activities across the Microsoft 365 cloud suite.
• Assist with data readiness planning and integration of Microsoft Purview to protect sensitive data.
• Support management of user permissions, data retention, compliance settings, and enterprise policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 cloud-based services in large corporate or government environments.
• Experience with M365 security, compliance, governance, or privacy activities.
• Experience creating or supporting PowerShell scripts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with federal security processes, audit logging, or cyber architecture support.
• Knowledge of Power Platform governance and security concepts.

Clearance:

• Ability to complete IRS MBI/security onboarding and required federal security training.
