Key Responsibilities:
- Apply specialized clinical knowledge to categorize, code, summarize, and interpret registry data from patient medical records.
- Ensure quality submission of all data in specified registries, maintaining high accuracy and meeting tight deadlines.
- Navigate electronic medical records and registry tools, troubleshooting technical issues and improving processes.
Qualifications:
- Level 3 or 4 Facility Trauma Registry abstraction experience and completion of ATS course and ICD-10 training.
- AAAM Training or AIS 15 Coding Course and annual TQIP Education.
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Excel) and exposure to multiple EMR systems.
