Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical data abstraction capturing complete patient history, diagnosis, staging, and treatment information.
- Utilize cancer data collection principles and assign codes based on established coding systems.
- Conduct quality assurance activities including peer reviews and data edit resolution.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a related field required.
- Must be an Oncology Data Specialist Certified (ODS-C) by the National Cancer Registrar Association.
- Strong attention to detail and knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
Work Environment:
- This position is primarily remote with biweekly health and safety information not applicable.
