Job Description
The Manager, Donor Relations will work with JA USA donor partners to ensure grant objectives and contractual requirements are met, and resources are allocated to the donorsβ satisfaction to support renewed funding. This role will manage assigned corporate and foundation grants, ensuring deliverables are accomplished.
Partner with a resource development team member to co-manage a multi-million-dollar donor portfolio. Steward assigned donor relationships to help secure renewed financial commitments. Oversee pass-through grants by coordinating with donors and JA offices to achieve predefined project goals and objectives. Manage grant-related communications with donors and JA representatives via email, phone, and meetings. Draft and submit timely, accurate donor reports. Manage grant budgets and prepare financial reports. Collaborate with cross-functional JA USA teams to communicate project goals and ensure deadlines are met. Lead donor and internal team meetings; monitor project milestones, identify risks, and escalate issues as appropriate. Maintain donor activity records. Support and coordinate special donor relations projects as needed.
