Responsibilities:
- Develop and advance policy proposals to strengthen local journalism.
- Conduct policy research and analysis.
- Build and Maintain strategic relationships.
Campaigns and Policy:
- Design and implement strategic campaigns to support press freedom.
- Develop policy documents, narratives and resources.
- Create educational materials, toolkits, and resources.
Coalitions:
- Build, lead, and participate in coalition spaces.
- Build and sustain partnerships with journalism organizations.
- Facilitate peer learning and knowledge-sharing among coalition partners.
Support:
- Collaborate with organizing, communications, and development teams.
- Guide and mentor junior staff, interns, and others.
- Contribute to organizational strategic planning processes.
