Design, develop, and deploy computer vision and machine learning models to automatically extract map-observable features from satellite imagery, leveraging vision foundation models.
Build scalable, production-ready ML pipelines that process large volumes of satellite imagery with high accuracy and efficiency, ensuring alignment with cartographic quality standards.

Who You Are (Qualifications):

Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Geomatics, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) with hands-on ML/CV production experience.
Strong expertise in deep learning for images (CNNs, transformers) and practical experience with satellite/geospatial data.
Proficiency in Python and major ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), with experience in model evaluation and improvement.

Compensation and Benefits:

The expected base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 per year, with an annual performance bonus subject to company and individual performance.
