Job Description
The Senior Attorney, Legal Training will contribute to the development of materials explaining legal processes, rights, and responsibilities to unaccompanied children and their caregivers. The incumbent will draft legal practice guides, toolkits, infographics, checklists, sample filings, quick tip sheets, and other materials, ensuring compliance with KINDβs style guide. Responsibilities include monitoring legal developments and policy changes impacting unaccompanied children, providing expert legal technical assistance to legal professionals, and training KIND staff and partners on topics such as asylum and special immigrant juvenile status. The role also involves researching training needs and developing effective training modes.
