Key Responsibilities:
- Completes engineering assignments like drawings and specifications for construction, using applicable CAE/CAD tools.
- Prepares computations, takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs, and issues construction documents and specifications.
- Reviews supplier submittals and provides technical guidance to CAD Designers and lower-level Engineers on projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Requires a 4-year degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis and 3+ years of related work experience.
- An Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate is preferred.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, industry standard bridge design software, and AutoCAD or Microstation is required.
Role and Team Context:
- This role reports remotely and is part of the Critical Infrastructure team supporting major regional transportation projects.
- The position involves a commitment to quality and continuous improvement through innovation and creative thinking.
- There is no security clearance requirement for this position.
