Job Description
This role involves several key aspects:
- Building and maintaining data platforms and backend infrastructure.
- Creating tools to help robots understand their environment and improve performance of entire fleets.
- Working at the intersection of traditional backend systems, complex graphing, and modern DevOps practices.
Tools and Technologies:
- Strong proficiency in Python for pipelines and tooling.
- Experience with high-performance backend services using Go/Typescript/Elixir.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud systems (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
Responsibilities:
- Creating web tooling to add/modify map annotation needed by the routing service.
- Exporting graph‑coupled annotation artifacts for the Routing Service and validating ingestion and route behavior deltas in CI.
- Instrumenting routing services with strong observability to monitor system health and data freshness.
